Intensive In-Community Clinical Supervisor (Remote)
Job Title: LCSW Bilingual Clinical Supervisor (10-12 hours) Remote Contract
Summary of the Position:
The role of the Clinical Supervisor is to provide oversight for Intensive - In Community Clinicians, Behavioral Assistants, Interns, and Parent Coaches providing mental health services to youth and their families. Provide support to supervisees as they work to stabilize and support the youth and family in an effort to avoid more intensive levels of intervention while working in collaboration with the Child Family Team (CFT). Provide an environment of learning and clinical development for supervisees.
Essential Functions of the Job (Including, but not limited to)
Intensive In-Community Clinical Supervisor

Provide supervision to Intensive In-Community Counselors, Behavior Assistants, Mentors, Parent Coaches, and Interns.

Determine the level of supervision required by the provider depending on licensing needs.

Promote the development of counseling skills and approaches through evaluations, clinical discussions, and sharing of materials and assessments.

Provide ongoing, regular feedback and evaluation to clinicians on the quality and timeliness of their work as well as their youth load Also solicit feedback from the provider regarding supervision and whether needs are being met.

Address legal and ethical issues about community practice.

Responsible for quality, compliance, and risk management functions.

Review and assess the youth’s treatment plans, including short- and long-term goals.

Provide administrative oversight and monitoring of billable required hours. Provide support, training, and remediation where needed to assist supervisees in meeting the agency’s expectations and youth-load requirements, record keeping, documentation standards, and all other quality assurance standards.

Serve as a liaison between care management organizations, community, and families.

Provide clinical solutions to more complicated and intense cases.

Communicate any concerns about the quality of the clinician’s work to the program Clinical Director in weekly meeting.

Assess and analyze employees’ performance standards.

Follow communication protocol as per the agency’s policy.

Attend required trainings and certifications.

*Clinical Supervision for License Available*

Locations: Bergen County, Hudson County, Passaic County, Essex, Morris County, Union County, Warren County, Hunterdon County, and Somerset County.
​
*Cases assigned are based within a 10 mile proximity of current residency.
This job requires the following licenses: LSW, LAC, LMFT, LCSW & LPC.
Responsibilities:

Provide therapeutic counseling services to children and families in their homes.

Teach children and caregivers strategies to help manage maladaptive behaviors and high-risk behaviors while helping the family to develop healthier family dynamics.

To deliver evidence-based practices in compliance with agency policies and regulations.

Participate and collaborate with each the child-family team (CFT) which may consist of, but is not limited to, behavioral assistants, mentors, psychiatrists, teachers, care managers, DCP&P, school administration, and other community resources.

Participate in weekly/biweekly/monthly (depending on license requirements) supervision to discuss the therapeutic process.

Create and implement treatment plans for each assigned youth.

Document all collaborations with the child family team (CFT).

Submit progress notes, treatment plans, and monthly summaries in a timely manner.
Requirements:

Valid New Jersey License for LSW, LAC, LMFT, LCSW & LPC.

Bilingual is preferred not required.
-
Valid NJ Driver’s License.
-
Minimum of 1 years’ experience working in the mental health field.
