Summary of the Position:
The role of the Intensive In-Community Clinician is to
To assess, diagnosed and implement goal oriented, needs based clinical interventions that addresses emotional, behavioral and developmental challenges of youth with moderate to high needs. IIC Clinician also stabilize and support the youth and family in an effort to avoid more intensive levels of intervention while working in collaboration with the Child Family Team (CFT).
 
Essential Functions of the Job (Including but not limited)
  • Provide therapeutic counseling services to children and families in their home to reduce maladaptive symptoms, decrease at-risk behaviors while developing healthier coping mechanisms.
  • To deliver evidenced based practices in compliance with agency’s policies and regulations.
  • Participate and collaborate with youth’s Child Family Team (CFT) which could consist of, but is not limited to, behavioral assistants, mentors, psychiatrists, teachers, care managers, DCP&P, school administration, etc.
  • Make clinical recommendations to appropriate services and levels of care.
  • Participate in weekly/biweekly/monthly (depending on license requirements) supervision to discuss therapeutic process.
  • To have a flexible schedule to meet with youth and their family.
  • Create and implement treatment plans for each assigned youth.
  • Document all clinical collaborations with care managers, DCP&P, schools, etc.
  • Submit progress notes, treatment plans, and monthly summaries in a timely manner.
  • Complete BAISP (Behavior Assistant Individualized Service Plan).
  • Maintain effective and timely communication with care managers and other CFT members.
  • To follow communication protocol as per agency’s policy.
  • Attend required trainings and certifications.
 
Requirements:
  • Valid New Jersey License for LSW, LAC, LCADC, LCSW & LPC
  • Bilingual is preferred not required
  • Valid NJ Driver’s License.
  • Minimum 1 years’ experience working in mental health field
  • Clean criminal background check

Salary:
  • Full-Time: $48,000.00 to $80,000.00 + benefits
  • Part-Time: $20,000.00 to $35,000.00 + Some benefits
  • Per-Diem: $45.00-75.00 an hour
